Most clients need three to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, depending on pigmentation severity, skin type and treatment goals. Your clinician will create a personalized plan and assess progress before recommending further sessions to achieve optimal, lasting results.

Most clients report mild discomfort like warm snaps; we use cooling devices and adjustable settings to minimize pain. Topical numbing can be applied for sensitive patients, though general anesthesia is unnecessary and rarely used for these rejuvenation treatments.

Downtime is minimal: mild redness and swelling may last 24 to 72 hours; brown spots may darken and flake for up to two weeks. Most people return to normal activities immediately and can use makeup to conceal any temporary discoloration.

IPL primarily targets pigment and vascular issues; it can improve redness and discoloration from acne and help texture slightly, but it's not first-line for deep scar remodeling or active cystic acne. Combined treatments may be recommended for best results.

Avoid sun exposure, self-tanning products, and waxing for two weeks before treatment. Stop topical retinoids or bleaching agents as advised by your clinician. Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin and inform us of medications or recent procedures to ensure safe treatment.

Initial improvement in redness and tone can appear within one to two weeks, with progressive pigment fading and texture benefits over several months. Maximum results typically require the full treatment series and maintenance sessions every six to twelve months.
