Get answers to common questions about Back Peel.

During your session, a licensed clinician will cleanse and prepare the back, apply the chemical solution, monitor absorption, and neutralize as needed. You may feel tingling; total time is typically 30–60 minutes with minimal downtime.

Most clients notice improvement after one treatment, but a series of three to six sessions spaced 2–6 weeks apart is often recommended for significant hyperpigmentation and scarring reduction. Personalized plans are provided during consultation.

Discomfort is usually mild — tingling, warmth, or brief stinging during application. Sensitivity varies by peel strength. We use neutralizers and soothing products to minimize discomfort and provide aftercare to ease symptoms.

Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and harsh exfoliants for two weeks prior. Discontinue retinoids and certain topical medications as instructed by our clinician. Arrive with clean, product-free skin for optimal safety and results.

Recovery varies with peel depth; superficial peels may have minimal downtime, while medium peels can cause peeling and redness for 3–7 days. Follow aftercare, avoid sun, and use gentle moisturizers and SPF to support healing.

Side effects can include temporary redness, flaking, sensitivity, and rarely hyperpigmentation or infection. Risk is minimized by proper assessment, patch testing, and following post-care instructions. Disclose medications and skin conditions at consultation.
